Program Opportunities

There are many different program opportunities that people can participate in. A few of those possibilities are listed below.

Requests can be made for programs for your specific group with topics determined collaboratively.

Some programs are available to be offered online via zoom.

Programs

Programs can be anywhere from a half-day to several days in length, such as weekly sessions or monthly sessions extended over a period of time.

Topics might include:

  • Liturgical Season, such as Advent, Lent...

  • Virtues, such as Joy, Hope, Love...

  • Writings, such as those of Margaret Silf, Joyce Rupp, Pope Francis...

  • Prayer practices, such as Journaling, Christian Meditation, Centering Prayer, Sabbath Time, Solitude...

  • Creativity in Prayer...

  • ... and the list goes on!

SpiritualBook Clubs

With all participants using the same book, meetings are held on a regular basis - weekly or monthly - to discuss designated chapters. Discussions are based on faith-sharing practices, rather than "surface" talk about the book. This means that chapters are read reflectively, and often questions are provided for consideration. Sharing is then based on those reflection experiences.

Authors might include:

  • Margaret Silf

  • Henri Nouwen

  • Christine Valters Paintner

  • Joyce Rupp

  • Ron Rolheiser

  • Sue Monk Kidd

  • Joan Chittister

  • Richard Rohr

  • ... again, the list goes on!
